This 60 sqm (640 sq ft) air conditioned apartment is on the 8th floor of an elevator building in the historical neighborhood of San Giovanni. The height of the 8th floor allows abundant light to enter the unit and double glazed windows eliminate most outside noise. The interior decor is basic but homey and the space is well distributed for sleeping 4.
- The living room has a double sofa bed.
- The bedroom has two twin beds that can be joined together to form a double bed.
- A fully equipped kitchen has a full stove with an oven, a dishwasher and a toaster and kettle.
- The bathroom has a shower, a washing machine and dryer and an iron.
There are 2 TVs in the house of which one is a satellite; a telephone for emergency calls; and Wi-Fi.
There is a cot available for children up to 4 years and there is a highchair.

Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but is permitted on a balcony.
The host speaks English and Spanish.

The Ponte Lungo Station of Metro Line A, just a few steps from the apartment on the Via Appia Nuova, connects to the Termini (the main train station) which serves as a public transport hub. There are numerous buses, both Metro lines and that all combine to reach out to most tourist areas of Rome. These include the Via Veneto, the Piazza di Spagna, the Piazza di Popolo St. Peter's, the Vatican Museums, the Coliseum, and the Basilica of St. John (San Giovanni). There is a direct train at the Tuscolana train Station to & from Fiumicino Airport and Subway A provides access to Ciampino Airport. The Appia Nuova is one of the original Roman Consular Roads and still has many shops and local markets including an excellent fresh fish market for preparing dinners. According to the Romans, the best tiramisu in the capital is found in the Pasticceria Pompi in via Albalonga.
