This sunny apartment, on the penthouse level of an elevator building, has a wonderful terrace overlooking a green, park-like area and also a lovely interior veranda with a dining area. It is located in a quiet, outlying district offering easy access by car with parking in front of the building. It has two guest rooms both with large windows which make the rooms very light and airy. One room (Matisse) has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a stall shower and a kitchen area with a counter cook top with 2 ceramic heating units; a sink, a refrigerator and basic cooking utensils; the other room (Picasso) has a double bed with a private bathroom (also with a stall shower) across the corridor. In the warm seasons breakfast will be served on the terrace or in the lovely, glass veranda. The hostess, who speaks good English and perfect French, has a computer which may be used by guests. Though not in the center of town, the apartment easily connects to all sections of Rome from the Laurentina stop of Subway Line B which is located just 500 meters away. The subway goes to the Main Railroad Station (Stazione Termini) where it can connect to Subway Line A and many city buses. From the Stazione most historic Roman sights are within easy reach. It is also convenient to reach this B & B from Fiumicino airport by taking the train from the airport to Stazione Ostiense and switching to Subway Line B. In this B&B lives a cat. Check in no later than 10 pm. Smoking is allowed only on the terrace.
